A tropical rainstorm has developed in the western part of the Gulf of Mexico and will move northeast along the southeastern coast of North America.

• Heavy rains are expected to move through the southeast over the next few days
• The storm is expected to hit South Georgia late Thursday and move into South Carolina on Friday
• These rains could have an impact on crops in South Georgia as the season is coming to an end; bell pepper, cucumber, squash, and tomato quality has been declining over the past week
