Tropical Storm Marie

Another storm has formed well offshore of Southwestern Mexico and is tracking northwest over open waters.

• Marie is not expected to make landfall in Mainland Mexico, Baja California, or Southern California
• The storm is forecast to strengthen over warm waters and could become a hurricane by midweek
• Moisture from the storm may increase humidity and scattered rainfall across Baja, Arizona, and Southern California later this week
• Crop impacts will be limited, with the main risk tied to localized rain, humidity, and brief harvesting delays in Southern California desert growing areas
