Prices in Mexico are escalating. Overall availability is extremely limited. Markon First Crop (MFC) and Markon Essentials (ESS) Limes are available.
Mexico (into South Texas)
- The current crop is ending; new crop volume is slowly ramping up
- Supply scarcity is common for this time of year
- Wet weather impacted bloom cycles 90 days ago, further reducing upcoming yields
- Overall supplies are extremely limited
- Large sizes are scarce, especially 110-, 150-, and 175-count fruit
- 230- and 250-count limes are more plentiful
- Prices have moved up sharply this week and will continue rising for the next 7-10 days
Colombia
- Supplies are becoming more consistent, but availability remains limited
- Long lead times and tighter planning are required
- Open‑market volume remains limited, as most fruit is committed to existing programs and contracts
- Markets are elevated, but lower than in Mexico
Hawaii
- Shipments remain approved for Canada only while U.S. access remains under review
- Both long lead times and tighter planning are required
- Pricing is lower than in Mexico and Colombia
