New crop, fresh-run Markon First Crop (MFC) Red and Yellow Potatoes are available in Idaho and Wisconsin. Ideal growing conditions have resulted in an abundance of high-quality red and yellow potatoes. Skinning and high moisture content are typically seen in the early season.

Idaho, Washington & Wisconsin

• New crop production has ramped up
• Early harvests are yielding large sizes

Colorado

• New crop supplies will start shipping in the last week of September

Michigan

• The new crop season starts in early November

Minnesota

• Shipments will conclude in late September

North Dakota

• MFC Red and Yellow Potato harvesting will begin in early October

Texas

• The season will end this week

Quality

• Fresh-run quality is strong; skinning and excess moisture will be observed
• No. 2 supplies will increase once potatoes are shipped out of storage
