Markets continue to rise; expect elevated markets through the Yuma transition.

  • Abnormally high temperatures followed by a rain event are causing varying levels of bottom rot, fringe burn, and internal burn
  • Mildew and thrip damage are also prevalent due to persistently warm soil temperatures
  • INSV, Sclerotia, and mildew are of special concern and have forced suppliers to cut ahead of their scheduled harvests, affecting head size/maturity and reducing yields per acre
