Green leaf, iceberg, and romaine markets are fairly steady at low levels; multiple growing regions are currently harvesting, creating an abundant supply.

• Markon First Crop (MFC) Premium Green Leaf and Romaine are available; Markon Best Available (MBA) is being substituted as needed due to low weights
• The Arizona/California desert growing season is coming to an end; the majority of supplies will move north by next week
• Growers are harvesting in Huron, California at this time
  • Insect pressure is elevated; harvesting crews are trimming additional leaves, resulting in lighter case weights
  • The short Huron season will conclude by late April
• Iceberg and romaine production will continue in Oxnard through early May
• The Salinas and Santa Maria seasons have started in a limited manner; additional growers will begin harvesting over the next two weeks
• Markon’s key Ready-Set-Serve (RSS) processors will begin breaking down lines in Yuma, Arizona on Thursday, April 10 in order to be ready for shipments in Salinas, California on Monday, April 14
