• The price spread between Mexico, and AZ/CA has closed
  • Both markets are steady at low levels
  • Quality is great; some mechanical damage has been noted along with sporadic mildew

Cauliflower

Imperial Valley and Santa Maria, California/Yuma, Arizona/Northern Baja, Mexico

• • Markon Essentials (ESS) Cauliflower is available
  • Prices are expected to escalate as the aforementioned cold snap slows production/lowers yields while demand appears to be steady/increasing
  • Quality ranges from fair to good; color is snowy white and head size is consistent
  • 16-count packs may need to be substituted through late January to keep order fill rates high; growers will be forced to harvest and pack product from immature fields
