The Arizona/California desert region is experiencing strong winds with gusts that reached up to 35 mph earlier today. Conditions favoring lettuce ice may follow in colder areas as the winds die down on Tuesday, November 21, with more widespread chances for ice Wednesday, November 22 through Friday, November 24.

Afternoon highs will remain in the low to upper 70s but harvesting delays could impact production if ice develops in the early morning hours. Markon inspectors are monitoring conditions and working with suppliers to ensure our orders are packed in full.
