The Arizona/California desert growing region continues to experience the impact of erratic weather in November and December, including several rain events and unseasonably warm temperatures. Light showers occurred this afternoon, January 7, and will continue into tomorrow morning.

Arugula is particularly sensitive to erratic weather conditions and has developed issues such as:

• Early breakdown/shortened shelf-life
• Mildew damage
• Yellowing/brown discoloration

Due to current challenges, some Ready-Set-Serve (RSS) Arugula supplies may be temporarily substituted with the packer brand.
