The Arizona/California desert growing region is experiencing a warming trend this week with temperatures ranging from low to mid-80s. Markon does not anticipate any major problems to develop, but higher-than-normal temperatures will increase growth.

After this week, temperatures are expected to cool down into the mid-60s to low 70s with shorter days and cooler nights. Growers are now moving into winter varieties which have been developed to have favorable quality and availability during the colder months.
