Several California growing regions are expecting varying amounts rain today through tomorrow, October 22. Markon has been working with suppliers to pack ahead of the storms to minimize disruption and ensure order fulfillment, but some production and loading delays are expected over the next few days in areas such as the Salinas and Santa Maria Valleys, Oxnard, and Huron.

Row crops such as broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, strawberries, and tender leaf items will be impacted the most. Markon inspectors are currently monitoring conditions and will provide further updates once the full effects become clearer.
