Tropical Storm Bertha is the second named storm of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, and forecast to make landfall in Texas.
- Tropical storm conditions are possible for the Florida Panhandle, New Orleans, and the Gulf Coast of Louisiana
- Alabama and Mississippi will see storm surges along the coasts
- The storm will continue to move west over the next few days and hit the east coast of Texas early Friday where the storm will be weakening
- Forecasts do not show this storm developing into a hurricane at this time
- Currently there are no concerns, as the majority of crops are well north of the storm’s path
