  • Stir chopped basil and pineapple chunks into shrimp salad; serve on toasted lavash.
  • Whisk together minced shallots, Dijon mustard, extra virgin olive oil, basil, orange juice, and rice wine vinegar; serve vinaigrette with salads or fish.

 

Fall / Winter Usage Ideas:

  • Layer lasagna noodles with béchamel sauce, fresh basil, sautéed MFC Mushrooms, RSS Triple-Washed Spinach, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese; bake until cheese is brown and bubbly
  • Roast spaghetti squash until soft; remove from shell, separating strands like pasta; toss with vinaigrette made with ample amounts of fresh basil and RSS Peeled Garlic
  • Stew browned rabbit with chopped MFC Tomatoes, RSS Peeled Garlic, RSS Sliced Onions, Kalamata olives, capers, white wine, and fresh basil
