UPDATE: Tropical Storm Pilar

Tropical Storm Pilar is located 70 miles south of Mazatlan, Mexico and will track north-northwest over the next two days.
Wind speeds of 40 miles per hour and rain totals up to 7” are expected throughout parts of Western Mexico
Sinaloa, Mexico will be a key production region through the fall and winter seasons
Commodities including bell peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, squash, and tomatoes could be damaged by heavy rainfall
Pilar is forecast to dissipate by Tuesday, September 26
