FROM THE FIELDS: Heavy Rains in Oxnard, California

Heavy rains are moving through California’s Central Coast regions, bringing up to six inches of total rainfall.


  • Supplies are limited in the main growing regions of California and Florida
  • Rainy conditions and cold weather will further stunt growth limiting future yields


  • Wet conditions will force crews to halt harvesting and will lower volume
  • Supplies are available out of the Arizona/California desert growing region and Mexico
  • Production crews will do their best to remove any rain-related defects


  • Crews are stripping plants to remove the damage from the rains in Oxnard, California
  • Strong winds and wet conditions will curtail harvests and tighten supplies
