Healthy dining has been a goal for decades, centuries perhaps, but as we approach the 2020s, restaurant customers seem to have narrowed their focus, eliminating foods that are overly processed, increasing whole fruits and vegetables, and reducing their meat and dairy intake.
Don’t forget to watch the sodium and sugar when eating clean. Generally, the fresher the ingredients (think produce!), the better.
Substitute items like grilled mushrooms, quinoa, jackfruit, or cauliflower for meats and fried fish in tacos.
