“Growing up in the salad bowl capital of the world, my dad has always been my biggest influence. Now retired, he was a PCA who sold ag chemicals for 35 years with the same company. He taught me the importance of hard work, loyalty, and most importantly that produce NEVER stops—it’s 24/7, 365 days a year, and there will always be a curve ball. After studying Ag Business at Cal Poly, I knew produce sales was my next step and here I am 13 years later working for the largest salad producer in the world. Taylor Farms is one big family—it’s so rewarding knowing that I play a small part in getting healthy food to tables across America.”
“As a young child, my grandmother had a garden in our backyard and while she was cooking, she would ask me to go pick jalapenos, tomatoes, and squash. That garden made a big impression on me and my life. I believe that is where my passion for food and fellowship developed. On Sundays our family would gather at my grandparents’ home to eat and laugh. I believe that no matter what happens in life there is no better feeling than gathering around the dinner table with your family and friends.”
