“I have been with Ocean Mist Farms for 42 years. Through those years, I have held several positions that have allowed me to learn and gain experience in many facets of our business. Presently, as Vice President of Harvesting, I have the privilege of working with many dedicated individuals throughout the organization with a shared vision of supplying our customers, such as Markon, with only the best fresh vegetables and uncompromising service….every day. This is a challenging, yet very gratifying business. I don’t view what I do as a job. I see it as the lifestyle I have chosen to live.”

“As a young child, my grandmother had a garden in our backyard and while she was cooking, she would ask me to go pick jalapenos, tomatoes, and squash. That garden made a big impression on me and my life. I believe that is where my passion for food and fellowship developed. On Sundays our family would gather at my grandparents’ home to eat and laugh. I believe that no matter what happens in life there is no better feeling than gathering around the dinner table with your family and friends.”
