“Growing up in Turkey, I was raised eating wonderful vegetable-based dishes. Some of my favorite snacks growing up were salted cucumbers, carrots with lemon juice, and tomatoes sprinkled with salt and eaten just like an apple. My love of vegetables has greatly influenced my culinary direction and style. It's nice to see vegetables finally getting some love on menus through veg-centric cuisines.”
