Brian Funk

Division Chef, Reinhart Foodservice

Chef Funk is Pro Chef-certified (1 & 2) from the Culinary Institute of America. He started his career washing dishes at a private golf course at 14. From that time on, he knew what he wanted to do in life—cook! Chef Funk worked in many restaurants before joining the RFS team. Most notably, he was the Executive Chef for Bluegrass Brewery, where he ran four multi-million-dollar restaurants in Louisville, Kentucky and was voted one of the top chefs in the region. He worked at Brett Favre’s steakhouse just before moving to Reinhart.
