In order to provide fresh produce that is consistently fresh and safe, Markon takes a two-tiered approach to food safety: |
Baseline Certification - applies to all grower/shippers doing business with Markon; all grower/shippers are required to submit proof of a third-party audit of their food safety program on an annual basis. In addition, they must demonstrate adequate insurance coverage.
